Public toilets on the public beach north of Mombasa
During my work on the Shimol a Tewa prison in Mombasa I was told several times that the Ecosan toilets on the public beach north of Mombasa were a failure.
A short visit made the backgrounds clear
The toilets are equipped with pumps for a chemical fluid foor rinsing. No additions for "Asian use".
Why were these modern toilets not in use??
Solution: quite simple, there was already a good toilet facility, sponsored by Rotary.
